I have already been through a failed relationship before, and one of the hardest things to do is to move on from it. Let us share some ways/tips on how to pull yourself up and go on with your life again after a miserable break up.
Here is my list:
* Accept the fact that he/she is not the one for you.
* Talk to your closest friends and share to them your feelings/emotions
* Don't ever contact your ex anymore
* Try to forgive him/her
* Look for new hobbies/activities
* Meet new people/friends
For girls with a broken heart, my usual advice is to circulate. But that doesn't mean to flirt around or to shop around for another boyfriend. Circulate means to be with people so you can forget the pain that is inside. I agree with forgiving but more important for me is to forget or to ignore whenever you would see him. About meeting someone as a replacement, I guess it's not a bad idea provided that the new guy deserves you because you have to be sure of your feelings. It is not good to jump from the frying pan into the fire. Unless you are very, very sure that the guy is a boyfriend material then you can decide on that otherwise take your time.
When me and my ex boyfriend had broke up and parted ways I had learned to have that compassion of forgiving him for his mistakes. For me what had happened is already past and I always believe that there is always a reason for everything that is happening into our life. Maybe we are not really meant for each other and that I should move on to my present life without him. And now I knew that what I did was right because now I had met my husband who is now my partner in life.
