Does height matter?

The phrase "tall, dark, and handsome" is used frequently when describing the perfect man. There are plenty of men in the world that fit this criteria, but not every man can fall into every category. Many men find themselves insecure when they are not at least the same height as their date. Men will even go as far as to mentioning their height in their dating profiles, which leaves me to think that they care more about their height than women do.

As a woman, do you find height playing an important part in selecting a partner?
Do you mind if a man is shorter than you?
Does a man need to be taller?

For me it does matter. I wouldn't want to be seen with a shirter man as a dating partner while if someone else is doing so doesn't matter to me.

I prefer tall guys. I feel height makes a huge difference in personality statement but so does the right weight. I wouldn't prefer tall lanky guys.

First, what matters most is the kind of a man the lady is with, a man may fit into the picture the lady has of a man in terms of height but terrible at treating a lady. As for me I would advice ladies not to make height a main issue but the mind of the man and also watch out for how much love the man has for her.

Any of the party may be taller, what matters is compatibility. I tell you if there is the right chemistry you wouldn't see the height but the person himself. A guy maybe tall but lacking in other good qualities you as a lady would want from your man.
