Are You A Kapamilya or Kapuso?

As the network war in the Philippines rages on, the question on who is the number one network is always being asked.


Personally, I am a Kapamilya (ABS-CBN network). I like their primetime shows and their actors are just better than GMA in general. ABS-CBN's team makes better content in my opinion too. I believe they have big budgets for productions which results to great shows that dominates the ratings war between the two networks. I know there are millions and millions of fans of Aldub (A love team on the GMA network) that gained so much popularity over night and I think they're great actors too. But overall, I am a Kapamilya and it would probably take a lot before the other network could convince me that they are a better network than ABS-CBN.

I both love these two networks. Well, I could say that I am more of a Kapamilya viewer. I mostly enjoy their shows compared to Kapuso shows. I love Eat Bulaga though, since it features the most popular love team now: Aldub. However, I think Kapamilya has got more space in my heart.

When I was still in the Philippines I love watching television shows from the said both networks station. There are shows that I like in ABS CBN and also as well in GMA network. But I am watching more at the Kapuso Network. Actually both network stations had their own shows which their fans are always comparing to each other. That is why I am not commenting on this and I think the fans should also respect both networks and not bashing or making negative comments to both networks. Both are only giving entertainment to their fans that is why there is no need to criticize both of them.

Pardon me for not voting in the poll although I admit that I am more of a Kapuso than a Kapamilya or a Kapatid. I did not vote to express my dislike for such competitiion. You know, the network rivalry is not teaching the public any good albeit they are showing that being nasty is okay. Can you imagine the tagline of the GMA-7's news report? It says "katotohanan lamang at walang kasinungalingan...." Now, isn't that loud and clear that is directed to another network? If not then why say it when every network is telling the truth? Check the commercial of McDonald's that showed Alden and Yaya Dub. In ABS-CBN, only Alden's part is shown, Yaya Dub's is edited out. That's the nasty part of their rivalry.
