The atmosphere during election period is always dynamic. There are vehicles with loud speakers roaming the areas of concern, playing their music or stating the slogan of a particular candidate. What is normally used are popular songs which they change the lyrics to suit their candidates. That is one aspect of the elections that may be original to the Philippines. The children are invigorated with those barkers that after a few days of hearing the political songs, the children would be singing it by themselves.
