Default Who would you vote for as the next Philippine President?

As the Philippine elections draw near, a lot of political ads has been airing. Needless to say, a lot of promises are being made again. As an average Filipino who is working very hard for every cent I earn, I'm so tired of all the false promises of the politicians running in the country.

I believe that this is a race between Roxas, Poe (if she doesn't get disqualified) and Miriam Defensor.

Personally, I would vote for Miriam Defensor, she has been a senator for a long time, she has done laws that helped our country and she seems really serious about the changes she want to happen. I know this can be a false promise too but, I think she is the lesser of all evils (hahaha) I say this because I have seen Mar Roxas in action and I am not please at all. I find him too dramatic. While Poe seems to have good intentions, she is way to inexperienced to run a country, she always say on her speeches that she would follow the footsteps of her late father (Fernando Poe, Jr) who is an actor, and has not done ANYTHING.

How about you, girls? Who would you vote for?

Since I am not living there anymore in our country I don't know who I will vote just in case I am there. But if I may be able to vote I will vote for the next Philippine President who will not just keep promising on his/her campaign election speech like most of the candidates are saying which are pleasing to hear then if already in the position all the promises are made to be broken. It is sad to say that it is the norm in our country and until now I think no President after President Marcos who had made the Philippines to be well known again internationally in terms of economical stability. Nowadays our country had a bad reputation already in the eyes of other country for its graft and corruption and is getting worse and worse . I will vote for a President who would say "I will not promise to all of you anything but I will make this country very promising"....

I am still not decided but my mind is gravitating towards Grace Poe because of her practicality in all issues. Although she had a booboo when she sided with the INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) on the sect’s illegal street rally a few month’s back, Grace definitely has more common sense than Mar Roxas. With Miriam, her health is in question, likewise her sanity so I think voters are taking her for granted. With Binay, the gluttony of the man is very obvious. He is like a pig that has a hole in the stomach. Maybe if Duterte would run, just maybe, he may get my vote.

I am still quite unsure about who I should vote for as the next Philippine President. It's really difficult to choose who among the presidential candidates really deserves the position. However, right now though, I am kind of leaning towards Miriam Santiago. I believe she has got the brains, and somehow the brawn (figuratively speaking) which would help her run the country effectively. I used to like Rodrigo Duterte, but after he cursed the pope, I have realized that he's not suitable to be the future leader of my homeland.

I'm going for Rodrigo Duterte. Miriam Santiago was my first choice, but I don't think she has the guts to be herself and try to stand on her own beliefs, without pleasing any popular or well-respected persona from anywhere. I think that's why he's loved by many, he still prefers to choose the things that would improve the life of many, than pleasing someone, even if he would get bashers. That alone is brave enough.

I'm going to vote for Miriam Santiago. I know that a lot of people would not vote her because of her health, but who knows? People live and no one knows when they will die, healthy or unhealthy. l believe that Santiago will still be able to perform her functions if she will be elected as the new president. We need someone like her who has the knowledge, skill, experience, heart, and integrity to become the next president.
