Default Try Again, Not Yet Over

We all go through a rough moments in life. I've had my share of defeat. Been there, done that. I was happy and been hurt. I was loyal, cheated on, trusted again, then betrayed again. Not just once but countless times by just one person. Its one sucking life, right?
Yeah, I sulked and cried for days and nights when I decided that it was finally over. There was years where the idea of dating again gave me chills. I was scared. The loneliness that I can felt at that time is better than the thought of the possibility of falling in love again and what, another possibility of failure again? For years, I was contented to being single.
But few months ago, I went on a vacation for a week. The island was full of couples. Sweet couples who are having fun, creating their memories and spending quality time. I felt a pang of pity for myself and envy. I realized that I missed the company of a loving someone. I may not have meet that someone but the fact that i am longing to be with some one means i am on my way to finding my own happiness, again.
Our life may be full of misfortunes. Life may never guarantee us that we will forever live happily ever after, but I think we owe it to ourselves to face the reality and try again. We can never win the race by sticking our feet on the same ground. We needed to let go of our fears and trust that we are worth loving and keeping.

There may be a lot of wrong guys out there, but it does not mean we are on the far end of living.

Wow, it seem to me that you have posted this thread by mistake but it caught my attention pretty well. Women here have deep thoughts over matter that we tend to just shake it off. I can almost feel the pain that you have been through but at the same time reading about your attitude and positive vibe gave me some sense of realization that things are actually happening and changing. Nothing is permanent, not even love and pain. ( well, at least that's what it sounds like). You are right about owning the responsibility over personal happiness. Nothing will ever change in the past, even if you do or not do something. But doing something in the present can make a lot of difference from NOW to onward.

Good luck on starting a new life. I wish nothing but the best of everything for you.

There you go girl, keep moving. Never ever settle for less. Pain will just drag you down and it will take you no where. There is no guarantee in life, but trying can be change the course of your stars. All pain goes through the process, its should not stay forever. Its should never paralyze you for life. Pain cam make you wiser and stronger, that's it. Learn from it but never embrace it. Start living. have a life. Risk more and love yourself more.

When I was in high school, I really fell deep in love with a guy from my class. We were pretty close back then, and ended up having a relationship, but it only lasted for three months. I was badly hurt and got into depression. After graduation, I went to college, and even though I have met and dated guys there, I still couldn't quite move on. Two years after I graduated from college, a guy from my high school class told me he has feelings for me, and we are now dating for around 7 months already, and I admit, I am really in bliss. I think I am ready to fall in love again.

When it comes to a love relationship there will surely be experiences that we might encounter along the way either it may be good or bad. But whatever it maybe do not live your life to the mistakes that you had made in the past. Just considered it as lessons that you had learned to help you to move on with your present life. It is easy to fall in love but it is hard to overcome a broken heart. That is why when you love someone do not give your 100% affection to that person and be sure that a certain percentage remains within yourself because before someone else you should love yourself first.. And if it happened that you are hurt the first time you fall in love don't think that it is already over because there is always a second chance to fall in love again. Just remember that there is always a time for everything as well as to the time when will the right person will come into your life..

LOVE yourself more before you start again. I've been on the same road back then and it was really devastation. Yes it can be life changing to. But knowing yourself and loving yourself will equip you to be ready for the next round of your journey. No amount of effort will ever be enough to get you assurances, their will be things and people who will come and go and hopefully stay, but whichever will come, at least be secure about yourself. IF they leave, its their loss not yours. Think of it as a blessing and opportunity to discover someone better.

I totally agree. I don't know if I'm too young to be experiencing devastating events in my life, but here, struggling to keep myself motivated to fight the negative things battling inside and not let the outside factors affect you even if you're hurting to much, you could almost feel nothing anymore. So yes, love yourself no matter what. No one has the responsibility to do that to you, except you. You can't expect people to love you back even if you give the world to them. Humans are born to forget the good things and remember only the bad things. So for myself not to get hurt, I don't expect people to do the same good things to me as I did to them. That way, even if they stay or leave, I have no regrets and no pain in my heart, as it's easier to let go when you don't expect from people. So when they leave, Margie's right, it's their loss, not mine.

You can so often see happy people around you and suddenly think that your life is the one that missing something.
But I like the positive vibes the others in this post give to you.

Just keep going, your happy life is waiting for you, inside of your comfort zone.
